hmmm.. rainy season is here i guess.. seems like every kind of falling is about to drop... i hate it but what to do.. in fact i was writing a entry a few minutes ago then i scan through it and i realize it reads like a hate post.. so i deleted it.. and promised not to write about emotional stuff here anymore.. got no illustrations to post cause a few of my works got soaked wet when the rain fall so hard last week that it dripped through our ceiling straight to my desk.. good thing my laptop wasnt there.. yeah it sucks, after working on it for months.. im just so lazy right now and waiting or something to push/pull me up.. i MIGHT go on a hiatus for a month or so.. see u around people!

yesterday...

yesterday sucks.. lost my phone.. my s500i is gone.. now i have to use this bulky xda II.. its a nice pda phone but i dont really love it... i need to get it over it cause just by thinking of it gets me irritated.. yesterday day i remembered that my laptop got an extra video card on it where i can plug in another monitor.. so i tried it on our CRT monitor then (tadaaaan!!!) dual screen in an instant! no need to install drivers, i just made a few adjustments on the resolution, now i got extra 17" working space..


yesterday, between 830pm-930pm(pinas time) was earth hour where in which our province participated and switched off the electricity not the whole hour but for only 45mins. here is the photo i took during that time.

yeah its mega dark ! haha! so we headed for dinner at a fastfood restaurant.. food is ok and fast of course! but the table napkin is i dont know.. i mean look at it..


who would care lookin at those fancy design if the only sole purpose of it is to have something to wipe those dirt off on your lips or wherever then straight to the trash can.. u get my point right? its a complete waste of time and resources! its just pointless.

im checking out my old collection of skateboard magazines.. just looking at the layouts getting ideas on arranging photos to help me out on my project (the storybooks) but cant help to read some articles i skipped before.. and damn just by looking at the contents makes me want to grab a board and skate.. will do that, but not now, not later, not tomorrow, not for a while... in short.. no time!

busyness

been sitting in front of my laptop the whole night and listening to itunes and reading zines.. and i never knew not until now that my fav skate brand zoo york has a filipino crew named r.b. umali. hes a shredder and a filmer/writer (im not really sure but im sure he do bunch of stuff at zoo york). i wonder when will the zoo crew come here in the philippines.

anyways.. i have been busy.. a lot of things are in bad need to be done, my room is still a mess.. make it the whole house! the illustrations i posted the last time is not even touched (not a single line/color is added). new job (making wedding storybooks) is harder than i thought but im getting the hang of it. need to sleep now.. need to wake up early tomorrow and fight for parking space at the city. see yah! yawn!

Faces

damn the net connection is really iritating! good thing i have it for free or else... yeah for free! no its not my neighbors wifi. its this 2G connection, where u have a USB device and a sim card on it.. its one of those connect anywhere thingys. it seems like the sim card on it is special. no need to buy credit but sadly the connection is intermittent, it sucks most of the time! i need a dedicated line.. i will not survive like this. anyways one of my friend that play guitar on the band the butcher cons (watch them out! they sound great!), recommended this urban-rap-ghetto group named nimbus9ine. go ahead and check em' out. i only heard one song on their page but they are awesome! ill check them out again when i get a good signal cause it took around 1 hour for me to stream the song. yeah thats how bad the connection is, cant do anything but make faces! and as i mentioned "faces" i have some cartoonish doodles down here. :)

nada

nothing much today. internet connection sucks! feels like dial-up only difference is, its wireless. well better than none at all. its a bit boring tonight so i turned on this old pc we have and found some photos i took 3-4 yrs ago. some of it are this stencils i made.


it says "nada" meaning "nothing" in english, in pilipino "wala lang". i used to walk around the city at night and make marks all over. nada was an imaginary brand name, created with my good friend hosu. why nada? cause we do it for nothing. not for anything, not to be recognized, we just wanted to do it with no reason at all. it was created out of nothingness. anyway it didnt exist so somehow it made sense. is it? hehe!

have been busy lately.. since i arrived i wasnt able to focused on illustrating and as well as doing any other stuff.. i have been helping out transferring/fixing things (mainly plants) to our soon to be new house, ill post photos on that building progress next time. anyway i have some drawings and i'm working on completing some of it (yeah not all :p). hopefully it will be done before march 2009 ends. here's a preview. :)
